About the exhibit:

A fragment of a Torah scroll mounted on two wooden rollers with three extant plates and handles. The rollers (1010 mm and 1180 mm high) are of dark brown wood, profiled, lathed and carved. The handle tops are round. The Torah text was written in black ink by a professional scribe who used an array of decorative features (tagin, pe lefufa).
