About the exhibit:

A fragment of a Hebrew alphabet plaque, which served as a school-teaching aid. The letters, carved from wood, were set in a somewhat crooked and uneven manner, vocalized in each line with a different vowel. The whole plaque is framed with a border adorned with tendrils and flowers.
