Group of objects: Ephemera

It is only a matter of luck whether museum collections can acquire historical ephemera, i.e. objects that are not intended for permanent preservation, such as invitation cards, messages, and various notices. As such items often contain the name of God, albeit in abbreviated form, much of this material has also been preserved in genizot.
